Connecting, Supporting, and Promoting Asian Businesses
OLD AND NEW
Welcome as the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Solano County showcases its transition to an organization that better reflects the developing demands and demographics of a vibrant business world. Established in 1992, the Fil Am Chamber has steadfastly served the needs of the Filipino business community acting as a communication and social hub for its members over nearly 35 years.
Discussions by the Board of Directors over recent years centered around broadening the Chamber’s outreach and inclusion with all Board members agreeing that a rebranding was a vital foundational component in any organizational change. The Board subsequently undertook a comprehensive review of its mission statement and underlying bylaws. In February 2026, the primary parts were in place and the Board acted to make them official, adopting the new mission and bylaws under its new banner, The Asian American Chamber of Commerce of NorCal.
While many of the ways we conduct Chamber business moving forward may seem new to many of us, the same energy, desire and commitment to serve remains. We’re confident that our veteran members will embrace the change and continue supporting the old/new Chamber. And we can’t wait to see what new energy emerges as we grow.

Asian American Chamber of Commerce of NorCal Members:
For some of you who may not have known, earlier this year the Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Solano County reorganized into the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of NorCal.The move was meant to reposition ourselves to broaden our demographic outreach. None of your Fil Am affiliations have changed, and we hope to widen our networking opportunities while strengthening our business-related ties.
In that vein, I’ve attached APAPA’s 25th Anniversary Gala announcement. The event scheduled for October 17, 2026, at the CC Yin Ranch in Vacaville will also celebrate the grand opening of the Asian Heritage Center and Museum. An historical moment for all of us. Individual event tickets are still available, so I hope you’ll join me.
And now that the Asian American Chamber has begun rebuilding its social media presence, we’ll endeavor to keep you better informed and provide you with a strong reliable feedback loop. Thanks for all your support as we continue to grow.
